Solid interim performance supported by favourable gold price

Johannesburg, South Africa. 9 February 2026. DRDGOLD Limited expects to report earnings per share (EPS) of between 216.9 cents and 228.2 cents and headline earnings per share (HEPS) of between 217.5 cents and 228.7 cents for the six months ended 31 December 2025, compared to an EPS and HEPS of 112.6 cents in the prior corresponding period (six months ended 31 December 2024), representing an increase of between 93% and 103%.

Group revenue increased by R1,250.9 million, or 33%, to R5,053.2 million, primarily due to a 43% increase in the rand gold price received, partially offset by a 7% decrease in gold sold to 2,388kg.

At Ergo, revenue increased to R3,613.1 million, while Far West Gold Recoveries (FWGR) reported revenue of R1,440.1 million, both benefiting from the higher gold price despite lower yields.

Group cash operating costs increased marginally by 4% to R2,294.1 million, mainly due to higher reagent and consumable costs. At Ergo, electricity costs declined by approximately 23%, reflecting increased utilisation of the solar plant and battery energy storage system, which continued to meet the majority of daytime power requirements of Ergo, during the period.

Capital reinvestment increased by 74% to R1,651.3 million, as the Group continued to advance its core growth and infrastructure projects under Vision 2028. FWGR added approximately 67 million tonnes to the Mineral Resource estimate during the period, following the transfer of the Kloof 2 dump from Sibanye-Stillwater Limited.

As at 31 December 2025, DRDGOLD held R1,734.4 million in cash and cash equivalents, generated free cash inflow of R793.1 million, and remained free of bank debt.

The Company remains on track to deliver towards the higher end of gold production guidance of between 140,000 ounces and 150,000 ounces for the year ending 30 June 2026.

The financial information contained in this release is the responsibility of the directors of DRDGOLD, and such information has not been reviewed or reported by the Company’s auditors.

The condensed consolidated unaudited interim results for the six months ended 31 December 2025 are expected to be published on SENS on or about Wednesday, 18 February 2026.
